What’s trending in new homes in 2015? It’s time to get excited, because these new trends are exciting!

Walk-in closets

Walk-in closets are not really a “new home trend”, walk-in closets have been around for years, but this year, walk-in closets are becoming more of a “must-have” than ever! A larger closet allows you to have plenty of storage space – for shoes, clothes, coats, dresses, belts, purses, and more.

A walk-in closet will also allow you to be more organized. The more organized you are at home, the more organized you feel in all aspects of life!

Walk-in pantries

Anyone who spends a lot of time in their kitchen, especially those who love to cook will appreciate a walk-in pantry. A walk-in pantry will allow you to have more space in your kitchen cabinets. Plus, with proper shelving in your walk-in pantry, much like a walk-in closet, you will be much more organized!

Separate showers

Years ago, a bath-shower-in-one was the more popular choice. As we head further into 2015, we see more new homes are built with a large, luxurious shower – separate from their bath tub. Why? Once again, a separate shower adds more space for you to enjoy. Plus, claw foot tubs, and tubs such as jet tubs are very popular these days, and many of them just don’t fit with a shower.

Also, a separate, large shower can be really beautiful. Many new home owners are choosing talk and expansive clear glass shower doors. Beautiful!

Outdoor living space

Outdoor living space in new homes is one of the fastest growing trends in the home building industry. What is considered an outdoor living space? You can think of it like this: It’s like bringing your living room….outside. It’s like an open air living room!
