If you’ve been following Timber Block Insulated Log Homes, whether it’s through this blog, Facebook, Twitter, Shows, etc….you likely heard us talk about the fact we can build custom homes. Here is an example of a person who had a dream of building a truly unique, one-of-a-kind home. He had a vision, and worked with our team of architects to make this vision and dream a reality.
This is a home that was recently built. We absolutely loved this photo shoot! Take a look!

While Timber Block has dozens of model stock plans for you to take a look at, this shows we can create complete custom homes as well! Also, no matter how customized your home is, or how big or small it is, each and every Timber Block home has R-30 wall insulation. This ensures a highly energy efficient home. As well, each Timber Block home assembles in hours, as your logs are insulated, sanded, stained, stacked, and thru-bolted every 24 inches in our factory into panelized walls, which are delivered on-site the day of the wall raising. So not only does this ensure quicker on-site construction time, but it also protects your precious logs from any inclement weather (many times, when building traditional log homes, logs are dropped off at the build site, then the logs sit outside until they are stacked. This is a process that can take weeks – even months).
You can also feel good about your home never settling – or your logs ever cracking! Thanks to our patented system building process, plus the fact our logs are dried to an 8-10 percent moisture content, you never have to worry about your home settling or checking!
