So, you and your family have decided to go ahead and build that home of your dreams. Maybe you’ve always loved the look and feel of a log home and were waiting for the right time in your life to go ahead and build that home. Or maybe you already live in your dream home, but want a cottage by the lake, or ocean, mountains, or a remote location surrounded by trees and peace. Either way – congratulations! Building your log home is a big decision, and while it’s one of the most exciting things you will do, you certainly want to make sure your floor plan, as well as the look and feel of the home is exactly what you’ve always wanted.
Today, we’re looking at our Ranch plans….Ranch style homes are growing more and more popular, and for good reason! Our Ranch models are designed with a more “traditional” thought – mix that with convenience, a ranch home is certainly a favorite.
This week, we did a Facebook poll asking our followers which of our Ranch homes they liked best. We featured the Newberry, Newton I, Summerfield and Farmington…Here they are…
Our top 2 votes were for the Newberry and the Newton I, with the Newton I winning by just a couple of votes. Here is the Newton I floor plan.

The Newton I is the definition of the perfect ranch style home. With 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and separate laundry room, life is made easy. A wide open living area with fireplace and dining room, off the kitchen is ideal. The Newton I has a gorgeous rear exterior with plenty of windows for the perfect view. It also features a 2 car, attached garage.
Not far behind was our Newberry Model. Here is the Newberry floor plan:

The Newberry is a favorite for cottage life living. A gorgeous exterior gives it great curb appeal and the optional wraparound porch allows for perfect outdoor viewing. The interior is very spacious with almost 3000 square feet of living space. It includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and main floor laundry. It’s the perfect design for your new family home, and very welcoming to guests. The large kitchen area includes plenty of counter and cabinet space. The abundance of windows allows light to stream through, giving it an all-over warm feel.
