You’re here. Whether you are 6 months away, 2 years, or even 5 years or longer, you know you will be building your dream home one day. So, how do you know what your style is?

If you’re like many other people, you may prefer a certain style of home, but if you’re like most people, you may like more than one style of home! Do not worry, it’s normal to love a few different styles. After all, we’ve created 4 different series for that reason!

If a traditional log home is what you’re hoping to move into one day, it’s likely you’re going to prefer our Classic Series over our Contemporary collection.

For many of our home owners, they prefer an engineered wood home – because of the warmth and feel (and quality!), but may be in between our Classic and Craftsman. You may like a bit of both.

Here are a few loose guidelines that will help you determine who you are when it comes to styles of homes. (Always keep in mind – Timber Block can build full custom as well. We can create an entirely different floor plan, incorporating features from homes in a couple of different series.)

Classic

Most of the homes in this series will have the more “traditional log home” look. They will have an A-frame with steep rooflines, and a ton of windows. Most will also have lofts.

Craftsman

A Craftsman style home will include fine architecture with low pitched roofs, exposed rafters and stone piers.

Vintage

These homes will have a coastal feel. You will also find the Vintage collection will be very classy, with fine architecture.

Contemporary

Contemporary homes will have straight, clean lines, along with plenty of large windows. You’ll also see many contemporary homes with outdoor living space.

Whether you prefer Classic, Contemporary, Vintage or Craftsman, we guarantee your home will be beautiful, highly energy efficient, and of the ultimate quality.
