Almost all Timber Block home owners who build a home from our Classic Series, many have a loft included in their floor plan. This is because our classic wood homes include the A frame and steep rooflines, with plenty of windows. With these designs, it’s very easy to have a loft that is not only beautiful, but useful as well.
Some of our home owners choose to use the loft as office space. Why is this a popular choice? For one, it’s upstairs – it’s quiet, and more secluded than the downstairs living area which will include the popular meeting spots, like the kitchen, dining area and living room.
In addition, because you likely have an abundance of windows, and of course a beautiful view, you may find the office is a soothing place to work!
For some home owners, they prefer utilizing their loft space for a sitting/relaxing area. This is great too! You have plenty of light up there, and again, the loft is always a cozy spot. In addition, if you have company staying for the weekend, you could add a sofa bed up in the loft, giving your guests some private space!
Many Timber Block home owners choose to have bedrooms upstairs, or use the loft itself as a bedroom. Because of all of the wonderful, beautiful angles, your loft space can be ideal for a bedroom!
Take a look at this loft. This is from a Denver model from our Classic Series. This one is more of a “modernized” classic wood home. Modern décor, steel railings, art and added drywall take this classic home to another level!
Finally, no matter what you do with your loft space, you can be sure you will enjoy the most splendid of views!
With any Timber Block floor plan, thanks to our revolutionary and patented system building process, we have the ability to customize any plan. We can build full custom as well.
