If you’ve ever been in the process of buying a home that has been listed, you will know an important selling feature is the master bedroom (and the rest of the bedrooms too). So it makes sense now that you are building your very own dream home, you will want to take the time to plan out the perfect master bedroom, second and third (or however many) bedrooms, and guest bedrooms.
Your plan will obviously depend on what the purpose of your new home will be. For example, if this is a second vacation home, and you plan on having tons of friends and family, you may be building several smaller rooms, or maybe you’re planning on a cozy retreat, where it may be a smaller log cabin – perfect just for you and your spouse! However, you may be building your long time dream home – your primary residence, where you plan on spending years in a home you carefully planned out!
No matter what type of home you are building, planning the bedrooms will most certainly be important! Do you want your master bedroom to have a master bath? Do you have small children and want each child to have their own bathroom, or maybe Jack and Jill baths? How about the rest of your bedrooms? Will you plan on putting bunk beds? Will the rest of your bedrooms be primarily guest bedrooms? Are you the type of person who loves the sun to stream into your bedroom in the morning? Do you love tons of windows? Maybe a deck off your master bedroom? A fireplace? We could go on and on and on!
There are many things to think about when planning out the bedrooms in your home. Our architects will work closely with you to create the perfect bedrooms for your new home!
