About Timber Block:
Timber Block Insulated Log Homes has locations all throughout Canada and the U.S.
In Ontario, there are SO many great things. In fact, 2 brand new model homes are going up near Innisfil, Ontario. (Stay tuned for details – we want you to be part of it!)
At Timber Block, we pride ourselves on building the highest of quality home. We use a patented system built process, meaning the logs of each and every home we built, are cut, insulated, sanded, and stained in our factory. Then, we thru-bolt every 24 inches, and we then we bond the logs into walls under thousands of pounds of pressure. So basically, your walls are constructed in our factory, and then delivered once your build site and foundation is ready to go.
Why is this important?
There are so many advantages to system building. By having this entire process done in our factory, we are able to completely protect your investment. This is your HOME! This is something you have dreamed of, and you plan to enjoy for years and years and years!
Your walls are protected from weather – this is so important, because so many times, when log homes are built, it’s done on-site. For weeks (and in some cases, months!) the logs of your home are dumped at the property, and stay there until construction could be complete. There are so many elements that can get to your logs, and destroy them!
Also, because of the process we utilize, there is no risk of checking or settling – something almost unavoidable when building a traditional log homes.
On top of that, the walls of your home are up in hours! This saves time on construction – and saving time means saving money!
