We love breaking down each and every room in the homes we build. For example, if this is your first time on the Timber Block blog, take a quick little search, and you’ll see we will focus on different areas of our homes. We’ve done blogs on kitchens, bedrooms, living rooms, lofts, and more. It’s your chance to turn your focus room by room – see tons of pictures, many designs, and a sneak peek into what other Timber Block home owners have done!

Today, we’re talking about porches. This is a room that can be very broad ranged. Some homeowners don’t really think too much about their porch, and for some, it’s more a “functional” space. But for some, they go all out, and create a living area that is both functional AND enjoyable, or more of an “outdoor living space”. (Something that is very popular these days!)

Here are a couple of our favorite porch designs – and at the end of the blog, we’ve added in a few floor plans, so you can get some porch ideas! (And remember, all of our homes are completely customizable – so feel free to use your imagination, do some changing, or completely design your own!)

The above porch is actually built in one of our Denver models, from Timber Block’s Classic Series. The photo below, is an outdoor living space found in our Sonoma, in our Contemporary Series! (Both with genuine, stacked construction, and the most beautiful wood, and always with R-30 wall insulation)

And here are a couple of our floor plans. These are 2 of the most popular floor plans found in Timber Block’s Classic Series. Again, you are always welcome to change up a few things! (In fact, 80-90 percent of all Timber Block home owners have customized their home in some way – it’s what makes it unique to them, and plus – you get exactly what you want in your home!)
