Our number one most frequently asked questions is, “What’s Included?” It’s a question we are asked daily. Here’s a rundown of what is included when you purchase a Timber Block Home:
Basically, all the materials needed to construct the framework; the exterior walls (assembly in and out), the roofing and ceiling materials, materials for the second floor or loft, doors, exterior windows and many other components.
Also included: A Project Manager to oversee your project from start to finish. A Timber Block technician to help your builder with the wall assembly on-site. Complete floor plans, created with our in-house design team….and of course, the best customer service from the beginning of your project to long after you move in.
Here’s a list of What’s Included in more detail:
The Complete Wall System
R-30 or R-36 insulated stacked wood panels, along with your choice of profile, including round, flat or hand-peeled. All walls are pre-stained in the factory.
The complete floor system is included. Advantech OSB, engineered I joist truss, joist hanger and rim board.
a) Shingles, anti bug vented ridge cap, self adhesive membrane in valleys and on the edges of the roof, OSB sheeting with H-shaped metallic clip, trusses, 12’’ fiberglass batt R-40 insulation, vapor barrier, furring, 1‘’X4’’ white pine ceiling T&G.
b) Metal roofing 29 gauge anti bug vented ridge cap, 2’’X3’’ perling, exterior air barrier, furring 1’’X4’’, white pine ceiling T&G. (Optional)
Doors and Windows
As for the basement, windows and doors are an option.
The structural beams and columns with metal plates and associated hardware. The trim for exterior doors and windows, fascia and soffit.
