Discover Tranquility at The Fives: A Luxurious Mountain Retreat in Bristol, Virginia

The Fives - located in Bristol, Virginia, is one of the most serene mountain retreats you can find in the glorious Appalachian Mountains. Judy and Reece Hill offically launched this one-of-a-kind resort earlier this summer, and we sat down with Hills and asked them how it all started.

Judy says it all began when she was flipping houses almost 3 years ago. “I was thinking with all the market that is here locally, I had this vision that came into my mind that it would be great to make a community that would allow people to have overnight stays. I wanted to have a certain look and a certain feel, and we decided we would like to put this project together and be able to have homes that people can actually enjoy for their vacation getaway.”

The Fives include 5 Timber Block models - specifically the Luberon. Reece says choosing this model was an easy decision to make. “We chose this model because we had previously owned a home made by Timber Block, so we started looking through the Timber Block catalog to see the different types of homes and we came across this one and we thought it would suit what we wanted to do.”

We asked Reece if they are pleased with the way the project turned out. “We would definitely recommend the Timber Block product. We have had several people come by and ask us about the product and we have given them the information to look up Timber Block. We told them they would be amazed by the different models they have and how fast they can be built.”

Judy says working with Timber Block was very easy. “The design team was awesome, right down to any modifications we needed to make. We were always able to work with the entire team. It has been a great process overall.”
